Meet the Team - Karen Perry

With over 20 years of expertise, Karen Perry is an accomplished security professional with a wealth of expertise. As Office and Control Room Manager at SecurePro, she plays an integral role in our day-to-day operations ensuring clients receive the highest level of customer service.

Karen started her career in the security industry in 1998 and worked her way up from security officer into team supervisor and security management roles. Upon becoming a contract manager in the retail security sector, she also gained invaluable experience in the police as a special police constable before moving into corporate security.

Starting as Front of House Manager, she quickly demonstrated her expertise, being recognised with a promotion to Assistant Buildings Manager for Urban Splash. As a result, she was responsible for the performance and wellbeing of over 200 security personnel. Karen then moved to Grand Central Birmingham as Customer Service Manager, where she was awarded the highest qualification in customer service – WorldHost accreditation.

We were proud to welcome Karen into the SecurePro family back in 2017 and, since then, she has played an integral role managing all office and control room operations. This has included looking after our workforce both in the field and the office. Karen also plays a vital role attending the events we serve and managing event control.

A qualified event security professional with level 2 qualifications in door supervision and spectator safety respectively, Karen is also qualified with a Level 3 in Business Administration.
