Trained security dogs are a fantastic deterrent against intruders or anyone thinking about committing an act of theft or vandalism. Their presence alone acts as a deterrent. When coupled with an SIA-licenced Security Officer/K9 handler, they are serious security solution.
Our proactive drug detection dogs detect the presence of drugs by searching areas such as vehicles, buildings, schools, distribution centres, and factories. When instructed by the handler, the dog indicates the presence of drugs by giving a passive signal.
Our passive drug detection dogs scan people entering workplaces, nightclubs, festivals, airports and many other environments. Worked on a lead by their handler, our dogs make no contact with the people they scan. If drugs are detected on a person, the dog will sit in front of them, giving grounds for a Security Officer or Police Officer to conduct a search for unlawful possession of drugs.
Our dog handling teams all have extensive experience working with dogs in the Private Security Industry, the Prison Service or the Police and all the animals are treated fairly and humanely – normally as part of the family.
